New Zealand American Football Federation Incorporated (NZAFF) is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and NZAFF’s Privacy Policy.

This Event Privacy Notice should be read alongside NZAFF’s full Privacy Policy and applies to ticket purchases, registrations, attendance, event communications, event operations, photography, filming and event administration.

By purchasing a ticket, registering for, entering, or attending this event, you acknowledge that personal information may be collected, used, stored and shared for event-related purposes as outlined below.

NZAFF and/or its authorised ticketing provider may collect personal information including, but not limited to:

• name;
• contact details;
• ticket purchase details;
• payment confirmation;
• attendance information;
• accessibility or entry support requests;
• event enquiries or communications;
• any other information provided in relation to the event.



How Information May Be Used

Personal information may be collected and used for event-related purposes, including to:

process ticket purchases and event entry;

• confirm ticket validity;
• communicate important event information, updates or changes;
• respond to ticketing, accessibility, entry or event enquiries;
• manage health, safety, security and venue access;
• support event operations and administration;
• meet legal, financial, reporting, insurance or operational requirements;
• support incident management, emergency response or safeguarding matters;
• improve future NZAFF events, programmes and services.



Ticketing Provider

Ticketing for this event may be managed through Flicket or another authorised ticketing provider. Personal information provided through the ticketing platform may also be collected, stored and handled in accordance with that provider’s own privacy policy and terms of use.

NZAFF is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party ticketing platforms, but will take reasonable steps to work with authorised providers who support appropriate privacy and data protection practices.



Photography and Filming

Photography and filming may take place at this event. Images, video and audio may be captured by NZAFF, approved photographers, media, event partners or authorised personnel for event coverage, reporting, promotional, media, social media and archival purposes.

As this event may involve children and young people, NZAFF will take reasonable steps to ensure photography and filming is appropriate, respectful and connected to legitimate event purposes.

Sharing of Information

Personal information may be shared where reasonably required with:

• authorised NZAFF staff and event personnel;
• the ticketing provider;
• venue staff and venue management;

• contractors and service providers supporting event delivery;
• insurers, legal advisors or professional advisors where required;
• relevant authorities where required by law, safety, safeguarding, emergency response or incident management.



NZAFF will not sell personal information.



Health, Safety and Incident Management

Where required, personal information may be collected or shared to support health, safety, security, medical assistance, emergency response, child safeguarding, misconduct matters, incident reporting or venue/event risk management.



Storage and Protection

NZAFF will take reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, disclosure or alteration.

Personal information will only be retained for as long as reasonably required for the purpose it was collected, including for event administration, reporting, financial, insurance, legal or operational purposes, or as otherwise required by law.
